Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: July 2, 2026

1. Billing Cycles

Paid Prosenx plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose at checkout). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.

2. The Free Plan

New accounts start on the Free plan automatically — no trial, no payment required. The Free plan has its own limits on stored documents, seats, and features. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to increase these limits.

3. How to Cancel

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling moves your account to the Free plan — you will not be charged again after your current billing cycle ends, and you keep full access to your paid plan until that cycle finishes.

Cancelling does not delete your account or your documents. On the Free plan, you can still view and download all your existing documents. Only documents within your Free plan limit continue to receive expiry reminders and can be edited — documents above that limit remain visible and downloadable, but not editable, until you upgrade again or free up space by deleting other documents.

If you want your account and data fully deleted rather than downgraded, contact us at info@prosenx.com and we'll process the request.

4. Refunds

Payments already made for the current billing cycle are non-refundable. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the cycle you've already paid for — we don't cut off access early, but we also don't refund the unused portion of that cycle.

If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a billing system fault), contact us at info@prosenx.com and we'll review it.

5. Upgrades and Downgrades

If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, we calculate a pro-rata credit for the time remaining on your previous plan and apply it to your new plan. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

6. Your Documents After Downgrade or Cancellation

Downgrading to the Free plan or cancelling a paid subscription does not delete your documents. Your data stays in your account, with these limits on the Free plan:

  • Expiry reminders continue only for documents within your Free plan limit
  • Documents above that limit remain viewable and downloadable, but cannot be edited until you upgrade or delete other documents to free up space
  • You can delete any document yourself at any time from your account

We don't automatically delete your data after cancellation — since you've paid for it to be stored, it stays under your control. If you'd like your account and all associated documents permanently deleted, email us at info@prosenx.com and we'll action the request. A self-serve delete option is on our roadmap.
